Dr. M Basel Bazbouz is currently a research associate at the nanoscience centre (2018-, University of Cambridge). He is a fibrous materials engineer with a background in both academic and industrial research. His research profile lies in engineering of nanostructured fibrous assemblies for energy, environmental, industrial and medical applications. He was awarded a first-class MEng degree in Mechanical engineering in 2001, University of Aleppo- Syria, and subsequently a PhD for his thesis “An investigation of yarn spinning from electrospun nanofibres” in 2009 from Heriot watt university, UK. He has worked in an academic and industrial environment since being awarded his PhD.

C.P. Quinteros got her doctoral degree at Buenos Aires University, Argentina. During that period she had the amazing opportunity of making scientific stays at ST Microelectronics (Catania, Italy), Forschungszentrum Juelich (Juelich, Germany), and Iberian Nanotechnology Lab (Braga, Portugal) which enriched her scientific and social network. Moving to the field of ferromagnetic materials, she met the domain walls and their multiple functionalities. With the electric and magnetic background, she is currently studying multiferroics with neuromorphic aims.

C. Preferencial Kala is currently working as an Associate Professor in SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University), India. She was also a Co-Investigator for the completed DST - FIST project. She is currently doing research on Electron Transport Analysis of Organic molecular junction: DFT approach and TMR effect in Ferromagnetic interfaces: First principle study.
